[b]It is dark, but Joshua creates light with his sword. As you walk, you hear something behind you that the others don't seem to notice.[/b]

[b]she looks behind her[/b]

[b]A small automaton machine grabs you silently, dragging down a staircase away from the group. It has a red power core in its chest and an arm that looks like a lance.[/b]

[b]she punches a hole through it's chest and rips out the power core[/b]

[b]The power core starts to violently beep and shake.[/b]

[b]she throws it away[/b]

[b]It explodes, and Joshua and Vaxx catch up. Joshua is grabbing his bleeding shoulder.[/b] "You good?"

[b]she nods[/b]

[b]There are odd etchings on the wall around them.[/b]

[b]she grabs her shotgun off of her back[/b]

[b]The other two investigate them but seem to be getting nowhere.[/b]

"Don't waste your time"

[b]Joshua barges through a wall, revealing a path.[/b] "There."

"If I overcharge my shields I could make it through the storm but we don't have enough power here to do that"

"Sadly. Maybe there's a temple that has a power source, or perhaps we could use one of those cores if we didn't destroy them. Maybe we'll run into more. Traversing the storm may be necessary at some point."
