[b][u]A Light in the Dark[/u][/b]
[b]The few soldiers unlucky enough to land in the forest were met with a terrain that made it challenging to even move around much. Eventually, Galdes located a clearing, and built a signal fire, hoping he could gather all the survivors there before it got too dark.[/b]

Galdes gets up and decides to scout the area*

[b]The darkness makes the forest even harder to traverse than before. You don't get very far, but manage to find a machete in some crash rubble.[/b]

He takes it and heads back*

[b]It seems the others are dragging their feet, if there are others. You decide to attempt to open a comms signal.[/b]

He tries to ping anyone in the area*

[b]Every tree shows up as a ping.[/b]

He tries to cut one down*

[b]With each chop, the entire jungle sounds like it lurches.[/b]

"The hell is this?"
-
[b]You feel as if you are being watched.[/b]

He looks around*

[b]He doesn't see anyone at first, but the glow of his own fire.[/b]

He takes one more swipe at a tree*

[b]A breeze blows through the leaves as you do.[/b]

He looks behind him*
-
[b]You see two red glowing dots among the brush.[/b]

He grabs a piece of burning wood and swipes at the wolves*

[b]They retreat slightly, growling.[/b]

"Back off!" he keeps swinging*

[b]One leaps at you, biting at your other arm.[/b]

The attacking wolf gets a painful jolt of electricity as it bites down*
