To the children who buy emotes

You're literally paying real life money for your character to do a 2-10 second action. You cannot justify this. You can make excuses and I'll post your excuses for being a child using their parents credit card below. When you pay for emotes you are showing AAA companies that they can take stuff out of their game that better games give for FREE and sell it. I understand the type of audience who buys silver....and that audience is classified as the casual gamer. Not real gamers. I love how I make a spelling mistake because I'm human and since you guys have no real valid arguments to make you choose 1 grammatical error. Only proves my point that you don't know how to spend money wisely. Excuse #1: It's my money. Excuse #2: I make (put exaggerated amount of money made per year here) and I can afford it. Excuse #3: Don't worry about my money! (They know they're wrong and are trying SO HARD to justify something that just isn't justifiable). Almost 50 replies and only 3 poor excuses have been made. Proving my point again.... I think you guys have tired yourself out. I just had to sit through the snot nosed kids coming in trying to justify purchases for EMOTES...I legit think I have cancer now. Thanks Density. To the kids who think that I'm poor...I make well over 250k a year. Money aint nutin. Because I know you guys still can't come up with any good logical reasons as to why you pay for emotes other than you like Bungie screwing you over. Still waiting on that person but I'm starting to lose hope that there will be someone who can explain it logically. SOMEONE FOUND A LOGICAL REASON TO GET AN EMOTE!
Because Microsoft paid for it by giving me codes worth $5-$10
You guys disagreeing with facts have produced more salt than every single salt factory in the galaxiez.

  • I'm sorry you struggle with money. If I ever see you begging for cash on the streets, I'll be happy to hand you $7 so your guardian can dance like Michael Jackson.

    • I bought the collectors edition for $80, worst way to spend money ever. The only good emote is hammer time and I never even use the exotic class items. But on the bright side it wasn't even my money.

    • they would get more value for their money with that emote then going to see a movie and spending $20+, getting fast food you enjoy for a few min, smokes, etc. you cant see why its worthwhile but at time you can get a group of people to laugh in party chat with the right emote at the right time. so its well worth it in the end. one time fee to keep for the life of destiny~

      • Thank you.! I know I wasn't the only one that thought paying for them is stupid. The emotes are cool don't get me wrong but by people paying for them they're making the game we like a transaction game.

Ha u get paid 250k a year This require a phd in chemistry in a specialist subject No offence but to someone who thinks that people are wasting there money when spending £10 , it clearly shows that u are exaggerating To further £10 is a pizza £10 is dvd Or i could eat soup for a night and buy a destiny emote Or i could go without a crap film and buy a destiny emote Even more u can not spell galaxy So to the person who claims that he makes 250k a year u are a idiot I bet u are a sweaty 12 year old I bet u have to bug ur mum for a game thats 16 age required I bet u don't know what a ion is

        • What I don't get is why are you worried about whether or not people buy these emotes. Pretty simple. Don't like them? Don't buy them. Think they are a waste of money? Don't buy them. Like them, and don't mind the cost? Go ahead and buy them. Make up your own mind, and let others make up their's.

        • I honestly agree. Bungie has pissed me off in so many ways and the emotes were the icing on the cake. People buying them are idiotic in my opinion, but they're paying for some of the dlc so whatever I guess.

If someone has to explain logic for why they spend their money on whatever they want then theres definitely no way you make 250k+, ill be surprised if youre even out of high school.

About the kid part, you should not be insulting children because 1: You were a kid once 2:if you were a child you like a breakdancing emote 3: So what? If their buying emotes you dont have to complain about it! Geez

          • How do you justify buying 3 expansion packs to a video game that's just wasting your time when you could be doing better things?

            • Yeah probably not my best choice to spend my money that I worked for, on a game that I can choose how I want to play, and have fun in my own way, Whether that requires money or not and no other player really can effect that. Your right destiny is a game with huge defaults and by far is not a game I wish to really support due to it actually only being a real game till 4 expansions in (which btw you have already supported them way more with these than with the silver)and this makes me feel like it encourages other companies to make half assed games and making you pay for the good stuff. But to see my character dance like Michael Jackson in thriller is still fun as hell. "Frightening" Oryx is still slightly entertaining and the Carlton will always be a favorite. TL;DR shut up and let me play my game and spend my money (or parents if applicable) how i want you salty bastard.

              • Marketing is what it is these days. People make millions selling ideas to people. Get over it. Don't like it don't buy it. I feel ya frustrations on what ur going for here. Simply put companies change behavior based on what they can make money on. Things that make money, .... Everyone starts doing it. Look at cell phones. But the fact still remains that if I want to wipe my ass with hundreds then I can and its no ones right to tell me other wise. Again I see and partially agree with what u are going for but... Yeah

It's supporting a triple A game company that makes this game. You're here, so you obviously paid some volume of your income for the game. Looks like you fell into the sandpit too huh? Bought an incomplete game? Yeah. Add this to your list of excuses: Because I don't give a -blam!-.

What's funny is that you linked your fb profile too. And you don't make over 250k a year lol. Judging by your profile pic it looks like mom's teats goes about maybe 1000 a month. It's seems someone either; A. You just want to troll. And are bad at it B. You don't have enough money and are salty you can't afford it or mom and dad won't. Or C. You are trying to force your biased opinion onto a group of people who wouldn't PISS on you to put out a fire. I'm pretty sure it's C. I'm pretty sure you're nothing but a whining crying early 20 something who thinks he is the know all tell all of video game ethics and ethics for all those who play it. Here's something for you
get bent and go -blam!- yourself
And have a happy thanksgiving -blam!-wit.

              • Because I like the thriller dance, and I bought the $20 worth of silver for the bit of bonus so I can buy whatever next dance. Well worth $20 to me. 250k is way more than I make, but $20 is actually not an issue to me so I doubt that's what you make. In a game I've spent hundreds of hours on and mostly enjoyed that's really not a big deal. This buddy system made me legit sad for destiny though. It is truly your low point creators. I know it wasn't your decision, and I think it had a good premise to re-vitalize. It was just very poorly executed by ignoring the base of players that have paid for expansion after expanison. Even if there was a silver bypass to get a referee pass on a fresh character, you'd make some revenue to fill in your quater and pad the end of the year, and there would still be the option of taking fresh new players through and it'd be the same quest, while not shitting on who keeps development afloat currently.

              • Ok so if that's for the kids, what do you have to say to the adults who make the decision to spend our own mkney supporting the live team by buying emotes? Or are you employing a straw man/ad hominem because you can't fathom spending your own money on emotes?
