  • TV wise, no, and I'm a bit salty there wasn't a new Flash on last night (which probably means no Arrow tonight). With movies however, it depends on the franchise. Fantastic Four and Spider-Man have greatly disappointed me, and although I liked Avengers 2, I felt like I was cheated out of a better movie. But I'm heavily looking forward to Batman v. Superman, Civil War, and X-Men Apocalypse

  • Yea it sucks that age of ultron was kinda screwed over by people in higher position than the director. It was supposed to be like a 3 hour movie but the people wouldn't let joss whedon make it that long for some complicated reason. I don't remember exactly why. That's why a lot of people felt it was a little rushed with not enough character and plot development. I personally thought it was great but I can definitely see why people had complaints with it. I just hate seeing people blame the director when it wasn't his fault at all.

  • Nope, and if you are you're a soulless piece of scum. Jk but seriously I think all the Marvel stuff and some of the DC stuff are being done really well, if it weren't so well done I'd agree with you but quality entertainment is quality regardless of genre, and I generally like sci-fi and fantasy so it's right up my alley to begin with.

  • Be clear with this...the Netflix made Daredevil, not that shit show Ben assleck utterly destroyed on the big screen. And yes J.J. is very well made. It feels like the dialogue and actions real people would say/do.

  • I like Arrow and Daredevil shows so far. As far as those Marvel movies go, yup. They seem to be getting cheesier and dumber.

  • Depends on your age. If you've never known a world without marvel or DC movies then sure. For those of us old enough to remember when all there was were books with the exception of a few very cheesy made marvel movies (80's Spider-Man & the punisher) then sure. For me personally it's great to see these characters come to life with today's effects and digital work. Minus the few badly made marvel flicks which utterly defecated on the original stories such as Catwoman, Dardevil, all batman's accept the original and the last 2.

Batman returns was still great. It was after the switch to Val Kilmer that destroyed batman. Also the Batman animated show with Kevin convoy is wicked as well as new age animated batman movies aimed at a more mature audience is done pretty well. Batman:year 1 with Bryan Cranston as Gordon is wicked. Anyways just sayin. DC or marvel ?

  • Marvel for me. But the Frank Miller Dark Knight Returns graphic novel was about the darkest and most complete story telling of Batman for adults IMO. And yes, Kilmer defecated on the batman franchise.

  • Nope. Never. Spit out some high budget super hero movies kicking ass (especially Cap) and I'll spend all my god damn money watching it.
