I tested the new to be nerfed shotgun range out on my Hunter in the lost to light thralls. Blink strike is pretty long distance. Let's say about a couple feet away? So, I figured, "wow. The range is still gonna be a bit of a distance away." But, with the Melee range, done on my Hunter as well, is pretty close. About 1-2 feet away, about half the lunge of Blink Strike. So, I think the shotgun range Nerf is not going to be that much of a problem. Yes, it will require a bit closer quarters, but I think it will make shotguns better for everyone in the long run.
