• It's amazing. Well worth the buy, and it's super fun. I can see myself sinking so many hours into this game

 • Cool, is it an MMO like the show or single player?

 • Both. In single player you have a team of three. The AI team mates act much like Donald and Goofy in Kingdom Hearts. They're helpful some of the time, but they don't really focus as much as a human player. In the single player campaign, you're teaming up with everyone to clear the new "DLC" that the in-story developers made for ALO. Eventually you get to make your own characters. You get three slots, and the characters are gender-locked based on race, and the customization options are very minimal. At some points in the story you are forced to use certain characters for certain encounters, for story reasons. So I wouldn't recommend going overboard with your customs. The gameplay makes up for it though. Very action packed, very fluent, the only problem I have is the lock on. Holding L1 for a brief moment locks on to a target. It's useful for boss matches and 1v1 matches,
such as the fight with Asuna vs Yuuki,
but when fight multiple AI combatants it's better to fight without lock-on. Moving the camera horizontally changes targets, which is very inconvenient when trying to look around while fighting. The only perks to locking on are an HP scan of the enemy, and your evade button lets you dash in a circle around your enemy. Which is why I recommend only using it for 1v1. If you aren't locked on, your attacks still aim for whatever target you point your analog stick at. You just can't see their HP or dodge circles. Which isn't that bad because most AI combatants only take a short while to kill. Multiplayer is decent, but could use a bit of work. You can create rooms, setting certain limitations on who can join and what sort of quests you are looking for. A lobby can hold up to 16 people, but you can party up with only 4. You get multiplayer quests, but you don't get to explore together. The multiplayer quests only bring your team out to fight a boss target. It's great to fight with humans, because then you can actually strategize. (I forgot to mention AI teammates have an unlimited supply of items, and will continue to heal themselves without you having to do anything.) And then there is PvP, which honestly I have yet to try because I have zero confidence in my PvP skills in a game like this lol. You get a small taste in AI battles throughout the story. I'd give it an 8/10. Mostly because I'm a huge sucker for the Anime. But it really is a great game. Just a few things wrong that could be better (like lock on) and a few more things they could add (like MP free roaming)
