I don't mind the 20+ times if there was some form of progression involved.

I have that and I still get gear that is significantly lower than what I have. Lots of times I get absolutely nothing from most bosses. I haven't missed beating Oryx on either level since it dropped, so that's not the answer. Some of us are sick of spending hours dragging people through HM Oryx and getting nothing useful.

Have your shards with you and 3oc them...that and whisper to RNG your desire :D

Shards only give you a double normal drop. 3oc's are worthless since I already have all the exotics and they don't go over 310 anyway, so they're also pretty useless.
