Let's keep the economy in mind. 1 heavy synth is 25 faction rep. 25 weapon parts is 50-75 rep (can't remember).
So with 1 heavy synth being 950 glimmer, it's safe to assume 25 weapon parts will be between 2000-3000 glimmer.

50:1 (glimmer to Weapon Parts) and increase Parts needed to gain experience to match. Think that would be fair.

Only other thing they could do is lower the cost glimmer wise for weapon parts and in turn lessen the faction rep gained from weapon parts otherwise the cost could be outrageous for weapon parts that you use for so many things besides rep.
