Fallout 4 Questions Thread

Need help with something? Not know how to make Dogmeat fetch you something? Ask a question about Fallout 4 like: How do I set the power on the rack thing in the garage? (I personally am wondering this) But ask questions and help eachother out now that Fallout 4 is here! I got to play it early, so I could help with some stuff http://imgur.com/rgk0oJ4 Proof. ^ Check my account and see when it was uploaded. Edit 1: Also, if you guys want to know where a few bobbleheads are, I know all of the locations. Edit 2: Holy cow! This thread exploded!! Already 700 comments!? Jeez Edit 3: I need some guidance...
I'm at the Mass Fusion quest, so here: Guys, I'm at the part where I either have to choose to help the Institute (after that, go undercover and help Railroad, which I want), or BOS, but if I chose Institute, BOS will hate me then, which I don't want to happen. In order to advance in another Railroad quest, I'll need to go undercover and help the Institute.. So.. There's no way to stay neutral?? What'd you guys pick? And no, the following isn't an actual spoiler of the game.
I think Piper likes the Railroad the most because she called BOS evil and Institute monsters. And a few goals of mine for my first play through of the game is to manage a good relationship with Piper and to act neutral among the factions, but mainly allied with Railroad. I could care less about the Institute, and BOS is super militarized, so I don't really want to get involved, and the Railroad seems awesome. Also, I love the Minutemen :D

Edit 4: Crap crap crap. This is pretty important if you want to save your companions from dying in the end of the game... Please read!-especially if you're going to choose the Minutemen for the quest "Nuclear Option". So I was doing the Nuclear Option quest (last quest in story) and I went with the Minutemen. I got to the end of it- (The following is a pretty big spoiler, if you haven't already found out early in the quest, regarding what happens to the Institute if you side with the Minutemen)
To blow up the Institute
-And I did it, realized Dogmeat was nowhere near me, looked for him, and realized he was stuck in there, and died. Don't make this mistake!!! I already looked it up, and I'm on Xbox, so there's no way to fix it. Pretty much to fix it, I went to a previous save, waste of a few hours, and dismissed Dogmeat to my home. Edit: It's now the very end of February, I haven't been on in a long time. Hi guys. Hyped for DLC?

 • I had never played fallout until this one I missed out on so much fun, this game is awesome! I love how unforgiving it is, one second you're doing ok, at least you think, next second your face is buried in the dirt by a random legendary asshole just walking around, and of course you forgot to save for the last damn 30 minutes, and you cry a little, but you realise this is how games are supposed to feel! Punishing, brutal, and HARD. It has been so long since I played a game where it doesn't feel like god mode lol. Going to try survival mode on a second play through, that shit looks pretty insane
