If Fallout tells me that war never changes...
...but Snake tells me war has changed, who is right?

3 RepliesBoth are correct. Fallout speaks in the sense that War is always horrible, and it's always meant to bring about the destruction of people we should be working with. However, how war is waged changes all the time. Even the small time between World Wars (20 years) saw the improvement of planes, automatic weapons, and the advent of nuclear weaponry.

Both are right, Snake means that the tools of destruction have evolved, Fallout states that even though that is true, we're still just killing each other. Which, as fun is may be in games, is a harsh reality and quite messed up.

War will always be about power, money, death, rights and wrongs, destruction, loss and tragedy However how War is waged will forever change, from swords, to muskets, to cannons, to artillery, planes, rifles etc. Each is right Each talks of War in a different sense.

Both. In a sense war has not changed in that we still have war fought by two factions. Or more. While snakes war has changed is also true as the way we fight wars is no longer the same. And has changed over the decades.
