Because the person you replied to in no way out you or anyone down. You proceed to be a dick to him. He gets a slightest bit defensive after you pull that shit and throw out that you're a vet, like that makes you superior than him by default. The reason I stepped in is because even though I'm sure the OP could defend himself, you still need your ass shut down. You want to have respect for being in the Armed Forces? Omg.... He implied I cried when Paul Walker died and kept up with the Kardashians, he thought I was some teenager, which is why I said I was quite the opposite, a veteran. You shouldn't be so quick to call someone who has served, someone who was willing to die to protect his fellow citizens, a disgrace. Not that I really care what some stranger says to on the Internet, but I'm just saying that so that you can refrain from quickly insulting a veteran in the future. You may not give a thought about the military now, or the people who served but the world is becoming more unstable by the month. There may be a time in the near future where you're glad you have a military.

As in plural, more than one. You were just being a sarcastic dick when he wasn't even being aggressive. Combined with what else you had said he got defensive and that's when he mentioned you specially.

Yeah, but I'm not fearing to the Boston bombing or 9/11. I was referring to Muslim gunmen storming multiple locations and killing people. That has not happened here yet, although I'm sure they've tried but the fbi hasn't announced it because those idiots were probably rendition ed to black sites for "interrogation " ;-), so officially they don't exist and it never happened.
