That isn't what M rated means, it just shows more complex scenarios that younger audiences might not understand. It's just a stereotype from other M rated games which have all that you mentioned

If it's M rated for the reasons Persona 3 and 4 are M rated then it's fine. They deal with the complex issues that you are mentioning. What most people want however aren't these complex issues that add to the game as a whole. They want the blood and gore and pointless nudity that don't add anything important to the game.
