M rated is swear words, nudity and sexual themes, and swear words all of which Destiny doesn't really need.

Look at the story... I think it needs a bit of that

Mature themes doesn't make a story good. Look at Portal 2. Holy hell it has one of the greatest, funniest stories I've ever played, and it's rated T.
