Its been quite some time since i played fallout 3 and now i forgot how hacking works. Can someone ecxplain it to me pls? An incorrect answer shows me how many letters this word has in common with the correct one... Right? Is the order of the letters important?

Example D[b]e[/b][b]e[/b][b]r[/b] (3) R[b]e[/b]ad (1) [b]Peer[/b] (correct)(4) The word read has 2 letters that are used to form the correct word (r e)but because only 1 of the letters is in the correct order(e) it will only display 1 letter being correct.
