Technically, all we own is a license to play. If Bungie wanted to take out all locations except for the Cosmodrome, they legally can do to the way licensing and terms of conditions can work.
We own nothing.

If they made the Cosmodrome faction based PvP w 16 players per area max I wouldn't care. I'd prob set up camp near Randal's cave.
