Oh and another question.
Why do the factions fight in the first place?
And if you hate each other so much, why don't you fight it out in a set event in the crucible?

We have seperate views that extend past a competition in the Crucible. When Dead Orbit steals our resources, we cannot simply leave it as a friendly competition. We must punish them. In some other ways, such as the story of the Concordant, they tried to take control of the City for themselves. When that happened, it fell to New Monarchy to stop them. It did not end as a simple Crucible match. Many Guardians light were permanantly extinguished that day...
