I'll say it again.
An expansion is a collection of content.
We did not receive the ability to earn the content that was advertised, and stated to exist in direct words from Bungie.
If I had known that this large portion of content would not be available to me prior to launch, I would not have purchased this expansion.
How would you feel about this...
Next expansion: crucible maps are mentioned and advertised, there will be six in "Expansion Name". When it releases, only 3 are available. The other 3, which were mentioned as included by Bungie, and were shown in gameplay trailers for the expansion, are nowhere to be seen. Bungie does not comment on the matter.
That is literally what has happened here, just with 9 armor pieces instead of 3 maps.

I would shut up and wait patiently like my parents taught me. If the dlc passes and I never saw those maps, then I would have a right to complain

Interesting to see that point of view. I guess when you go to a dealership to buy a car, just to find its seats removed once it's delivered to you, you'll just ride around on your ass until your contract expires. I mean, they didn't tell you the seats would come with the car WHEN you purchased it... Sounds absolutely -blam!-ing ridiculous doesn't it? But turn on that brain for a little while and think. Other than in scale... how are this example different? You were advertised a piece of content, and it was not given to you. It was not specifically stated the seats would release when you bought the car. Your fault for assuming.
-
I'm not sure which side of the argument you're attempting to support. But using your example, I know the dealership would have my seats in the car. Bungie has that beautiful fine print
-
Everything isn't available at launch, they did this to prolong game play, repeating yourself doesn't make you sound any less self entitled. Most of the leaks were hyped up by community or data mined, this doesn't make them promised content
-
Bungie stated : 6 new exotics for each class in their advertisement for TTK. It's not like they said many new exotics. They literally said 6 for each class and only 3 are available. That is false advertisement whether you admit it or not. They should have said 3 for each at the start and 3 more later if they were going to be honest
-
They didn't give release dates, just like dozens of other things they don't tell us. Welcome to playing Destiny
-
Doesn't change the fact is false advertisement, also I could care less about timegated stuff
-
Timegating, when forewarned, is acceptable. Taking out half of the exotic armors in the expansion, without a word towards the community that was pouring out money preordering upon a false promise, is not. Desiring to be able to earn the content that I purchased DOES NOT make me entitled. However, believing that false advertising is an acceptable business practice, DOES make you an absolute -blam!-ing dumbass. Have a nice day.

Jumps right to name calling, well that ends that discussion

Thanks for bumping again. Loving it. Go ahead and reply back please.

Okay, I'll report and down vote while I'm at it too :)
-
Reporting me for stating a fact that you disagree with. That, my good sir, is not a valid reason to report. However, false reporting IS a report worthy offense. So I guess I'll get to that to :)

Name calling is always worth reporting, I hope your thread dies as quickly as your ability to converse with others
