I bet I would get more kills with my Red Death. When it's loaded, I think most people would agree that the Malice is not that great. When it's unloaded, you need to hide too much to really be effective. You might not be dying, but you're also not really in the fight. With my Red Death, I'm out there, killing all the things, even though I'm not doing as much Damage Per Second. I fully believe that Malice users will realize that their gun sucks someday. Test it against some randoms in strikes. I bet you they get more kill using almost any other weapon.
