Ah now you never mentioned making them infusable, now that changes the game!! Butttt....like many people I'm struggling to get high light gear from kings fall, I currently have 3 characters stuck around 312, it would take over a year to get enough gear from kings fall to infuse into another 2 complete sets of VoG and Crota gear. That issue would need addressed but I like your thinking
