If the old raids were to come back (which they should), then they should be made to reflect story progression, and must be done in order to unlock the other raids. - VoG comes first. Prerequisites are to complete the original story line and have a minimum light level of 230. Recommended light level is 250-270 normal, 280 hard mode. Gear drops up to 270 on normal and 280 on hard. - To unlock Crota's End, you must complete VoG on hard and also complete the Dark Below story line, and has a minimum light level of 260. Recommended light level is 270-290 on normal, and 300 on hard. Gear drops up to 290 on normal and 300 on hard. - To unlock King's Fall, you must complete Crota's End on hard and also complete the Taken King story line. Rest is the same as it is now. PoE could also come back, but it would be separate from the raids. Only prerequisite is to complete the House of Wolves story line. Only mode available is hard mode (a.k.a, skolas), and has a recommended light level of 300.

  • even just a super hard version at 300 light would be awesome. leave the low level raids there for people starting destiny from the very beginning of year one....

  • That ship sailed when Activision unleashed the fact that you didn't even need to complete the original story or raids to access the Taken King, which makes pretty much no sense, I never did Crota or PoE past 32 mostly because LFG was so hard for me at the time, I was really disappointed about the no LFG in-game thing, Smith believes it would be a gong show, but it's not if it's in-game or on my phone, it's the same shiit, except in-game you got access to ALL the players and not a select group, derpity derp derp derp.

  • Then that still doesn't make them relevant as nobody would play them still as you can't reach max light from it. They would all have to drop the same, max light gear to all be relevant.

  • They would be completely relevant. That would be three new sets of gear for people to collect, all of which are infusable and can reach the max light level. It would also bring some much loved weapons into year 2. If all the raids dropped end game gear then it would be way to easy to reach the max level, and would also depreciate the value of the King's Fall raid (because lets be honest, Crota's End is 100x easier than King's Fall).

  • Ah now you never mentioned making them infusable, now that changes the game!! Butttt....like many people I'm struggling to get high light gear from kings fall, I currently have 3 characters stuck around 312, it would take over a year to get enough gear from kings fall to infuse into another 2 complete sets of VoG and Crota gear. That issue would need addressed but I like your thinking

If the drops would be remade to have infusion of Legendaries and Exotics, then they'd be pretty relevant.
