Yes, make the Raid and PoE relevant again, But leave all gear obsolete

  • Then they would still be pointless. Make new gear for the higher level versions and keep the old gear for the lower level versions.

  • They would have to offer something but I don't think you should be top gear from them. I think the old raids are too easy and the new raid should be exclusive for new high level gear BUT , I think I've found what the old raids should offer. Since there are no year 2 primaries with burns (except supercell) I think the old raids should offer new sets of guns the have burns on them but drop at 220 and need to be ascended up but the high level gear from kings fall. These guns would all be new to keep us from recycling old weapons such as Fatebringer but allowing us a reason to bring back the old raids and for the year 2 players to actually do them and experience what they missed in year one. I feel with this it would allow us to get new guns with burns but still force us to play the new raid and trials in order to raise the light levels on these new weapons demanding the new content but also giving a refreshed feel to old raids that would come with a harder difficulty but new rewords.

  • I both agree and disagree with you there. I dont think they should drop primary weaps with elements. If anything it should be an infusable upgrade that adds a burn to a weapon. Make it an expensive(in game. Not real cash) one time only infusable upgrade.

  • That's what I was thinking at first but how many times can you get the drop? Would it be 1 drop per element for a total of 3 or would it be 1 drop that you choose element or could you get unlimited drops (which would be a major problem?

  • It would drop a single element at a time once per week per character. I have three characters and I run it 3 times. Once with each. I have a chance to get the Arc, Solar, or Void "Core", It's not a guaranteed drop. And you can get this drop up to 9 times. 3 per character( Or until you have one of each element per character) Another solution would be 3 drops per account with it taking whichever element is dropped for you off the loot table so no repeating drops. More common drops would be the same thing, but only usable on Special or Heavy weapons. Like if you have an Arc Sniper, but want to change it to Void instead. Those drops wouldn't be limited and could be turned in for rep. You also get a one time only drop(1 per account) that will let you change the element of an ALREADY elemental Exotic weapon to any of the 3 elements. Example- Invective is Solar, but you would love to have one that's Arc or Void. You can change that element only once. You cannot use this on weapons that are specifically designed for use with one element. Like you wouldn't be able to change the Element of a Zhalo Supercell, Necrochasm, Icebreaker, or Thunderlord since they are all designed with their elements in mind. This is my idea, but I know they won't do that.

  • I think leaving the gear obsolete would make doing the Raids and PoE pointless. I think the difficulty should be raised to match king's fall. Perhaps even have taken invade to spice things up in VoG or PoE..
