Should Old Raids Be Relevant Again?
I'm not sure about you guys but I think VoG, CE, and PoE should make a come back. It would add a lot more choices of what raid you want to do and what raid gear you want to collect. I want to piss off Oryx even more by walking into king's fall with gear I earned from killing his son! What do you guys think? Yes? No? Maybe so? If you like the idea then smash the like button like it's that BASTARD RAHOOL!!!
Edit 1: Wow that's...that's a lot of votes. I just wanted to apologize to those who see the poll as biased, I didn't really think of how biased it looked when I made the poll, I would change it if I could but I can't edit what's on the poll...voting...thingy...so umm yeah sorry. But if it helps, you can cover the biased part with your hand...or some tape I...I guess...*Awkward silence*
Edit 2: Thank you all for your opinions and ideas! One idea that I've been seeing and have taken a liking to (Haha Taken...N-No? Not working for you?...O-ok sorry) is having the difficulty increased and having the gear drop at 280 and have weapons drop with no burns (maybe random perks too). Keep it up!

They should definitely make the other raids year 2, but if they do, they should probably fix the bridge or some other things, unless they make the gear drop at super low defense. Other wise it'd just be unbelievably easy to get raid gear. I'd be perfectly okay tho if they left the raid the way it was & just had CE gear drop at low values, but be able to be infused. Cause I LOVED the CE raid gear, I'd infuse the crap out of it. Same with VoG gear, I love the Titan VoG gear & the warlock CE gear. Then the KF hunter gear

Heh you don't even need to run a poll for this. Every player will say yes because... really, new expansion and it makes more then half the game obsolete? Hell, they didn't even try and bring HoW gear along into this new season like they did for TDB into HoW. It all just got left behind. They could have At least. AT LEAST, brought the HoW arena gear up into the right light levels. Just like how they did with ToO. But did they? Nope... God it's like Bungie wants this game to wither and die before it releases the Next Gen Console Only Version of the game eventually.

Been saying this for weeks - it literally is the same programming it took to have 5 different heroic levels for each story mission in year 1. Same coding. Just scale up the light level/hard level. Would have no added mechanics because that's just wasted time - same exact mechanics. All loot will drop at a firm 280 light, no weapons will drop at higher levels. Make it happen bungie. #Cosmo

Oh man, to have VoG be relevant and meaningful again? That'd be a dream come true. Still, to date, my single favorite activity in Destiny. I've easily run it over 50 times and its still super fun every single time.

Absolutely, and POE and year one weapons and armour. Before TTK dropped we had all that choice in PVE, it's getting close to boring for me now.

1 ReplyI run prison of elders for strange coins, and occasionally go for skolas for fun. The ntte return to the VoG was a nice touch, but it'd be sweet if the rest of the raid rewards were Y2. I would love a good reason to solo crota

I have a feeling that if they did this, people would complain about them recycling old content instead of adding more things to TTK. I still agree with having old raids back to our level though.

I'll answer yes, but honestly, they need to bring in new rewards for the old raids. The old raid weapons don't fit into the game that they're trying to make, and honestly I'm happy that I don't have to use Fatebringer and gjallarhorn to make the best use of my loadout.

I would love it if they brought the old raids back somehow. They don't even have to upgrade the old gear. Just replace the old gear drops with current gear that has year two levels (either gear we can currently get or some new gear set). But to make it more interesting, do like the POE and add modifiers every week that change. Let's face it, we know these raids like the back of our gauntlets. No radar, grounded, with extra primary damage on VOG? Challenge accepted!
