The policy you pointed me to referred to accidentally discarded/sharded items. I did not accidentally do anything. One day the materials were there and the next day, they weren't due to a mysterious factor. If I'm wrong please point me to the specific section that states that if my stuff simply vanished of its own free will then " such is life". I'll be fine if I see that I have agreed to such terms because it is just a game after all.

Hello, While the forum does not address "disappearing" items, I can tell you what I would tell anyone else, Bungie does not restore any lost or dismantled items. If they are gone. You will not receive a refund.

Meh, I appreciate you taking your time. It's not the end of the world but you can see why its a pain. in your experience, would you say this kind of thing happens often?

It's never personally happened to me, but I have seen forum posts. It's hard to tell half of the time though, as many people end up making posts just trying to get free stuff. I believe many item disappearances are just due to lag and may re-appear after a short while. I hope yours does, best of luck.
