Didn't read the whole post. Stopped reading at "I paid for 18 exotic armors."
No, you didn't. You paid for the access to potentially unlock them.

Which he currently can't do. Which was exactly his point.

Potentially is the keyword of my sentence.
-
Heh...do you pay for a can of soup to Potentially contain soup, or to actually contain soup as stated?
-
There's a difference between paying for ownership and paying for access. When you pay for a can of soup, you own it. When you paid for Destiny, you only own the disc and case. Digitally though, you paid to own a license. Neither of these mean you own the game itself so your point is moot. The only other part your money paid for was access, potential or immediate notwithstanding.

Didn't ask if that can was required by law to contain soup. Just asked what you intended to buy based on the label.

But we CAN'T potentially unlock them. They don't exist yet in the loot table. I already have all Y1 exotic armors and all the Year 2 ones which are actually available. Two thirds are still behind a time gate. Please read the whole post sir, thank you for the bump.

Edited by Blaqish: 11/9/2015 8:53:44 PMTime gated items aren't excluded from potential. If they are available to unlock later, a la time gated, there is still the potential to unlock them. Just like how there's the potential for us to some day obtain Fate of All Fools.

And he can't potentially unlock them right now. So.
