For me however, I'm not okay with laying down and being stepped on because that's just the way it works and they're allowed to. They didn't state that a massive chunk of the content would be left out until a later date. If they had, I would simply be upset about that, and have no argument.
What I'm saying is, what if vault of glass was specifically advertised on the base game box, yet wasn't in the base game, and they didn't tell us? We knew that vault of glass would take a few weeks to release.

you're right, it is a crappy practice morally. however, if you are going to give them an argument against this practice, you have to argue legal problems with them, not moral claims. Activision and Bungie don't really care how you feel as long as their numbers are strong. Instead of voicing your opinion on the forums and continuing to play the game, just don't play the game. that's really how they'll listen, if enough people have a strong resolve to stop playing.

And that's the thing though, it's impossible to debate legally because we have absolutely nothing. The EULA is iron clad. That doesn't mean I'll just roll over and take the bullshit though.

I haven't really played for a couple weeks actually. Tried trials last weekend for a couple hours. I actually quit more of business practices than actually hating the game. If it weren't for time gating and what is in my opinion the worst RNG of any raid (the different attack values), the very mechanics meant to keep me playing for longer, I'd probably be playing right now.
