It doesn't offend/surprise me, I just think it's not the right way to go about giving us content.

And you're entitled to that opinion-- one which I think many people share. I personally think it would be boring if everything was there on day one. I think if you want to express your opinion to bungie, and stand any chance at influencing them, you need to make a concise, reasonable post expressing your opinion... Not an irate tantrum about how you own this or that. That is not the way to go about anything.

Exactly. I'm not talking about the legality of it. I don't care that I bought a license, I know that's how games work. I care that I paid for something and it wasn't delivered. If they had stated they would roll out the content, I wouldn't be as angry. They lied by omission. I don't think anyone expected when they purchased the taken king for a huge chunk of it to be missing.

Anyone who was here in year one should have known better. Sorry.

I've been playing since beta. Never before has something of this level occurred in Destiny, so I don't know what you're speaking of. As they did not expressly mention the content would not be included in the base expansion, I and every other sane individual considers this business practice false advertising. We understand that we have no grounds legally, they could charge us a hundred dollars for the next expansion just to find out on launch day that it's nothing but a single zavala mask and everything else is time gated. We wouldn't be okay with that. Would you?
