Of course they are playing it and not destiny. It just came out. It's the shiny new toy. Give it a few weeks and it will be boring again. I am a very big cod guy and they all get boring as hell after a few weeks. Once you complete your second prestige it's so repetitive it is ridiculous. While destiny is repetitive and very much a grind, there are ways to mix it up.
It's not gonna kill destiny. Hell, in two weeks it will probably barely make a dent.

Only reason people play cod is because of esports and all the tournaments, if you play casual then yeah it gets boring but competitive cod is amazing

True. Make it competitive and yeah it's awesome. But what percentage of the cod population actually plays e sports competitively? Not near enough to put a dent in destiny. Two completely different styles and genres of games. It's like saying the Ford F-150 is gonna be the end of the Chrysler 300. Not even a comparison.
