i have 2 counterpoints 1 just because something has always been that way it doesnt mean its ok, getting nothing from a raid was, is and will always be unfair 2 at least when you got armor from old raids it was at max level, right now i killed oryx on hard i only got 310 chest, i dont remember atheon droping a 290 attack VoC

Woah I was just asking, I mean its a loot based game and the rng is bad so you know what your going in to, thats how rng works it sucks yes but thats the game, I don't enjoy it that's why I stopped. I also don't remember atheon giving me any kind of gear that would help attain max level, but before no one was complaining or rather a small part of the community did. I guesse its worst now huh? I don't know Im done, I was just asking btw.

i was on the unlucky part, i was completing vog on hard since when it released and it took me 19 hard atheon kills to get the mythoclast (after it was nerfed) it was annoying, pure rng is not fair, we need to put limits that protect unlucky people the point of feedback is to propose ways to make the game better, right now i believe loot system need a fix yesterday

The point is that for some people it's really difficult to complete PvE endgame activities, and when they do complete it and get nothing, it's kind of bullshit.

I already know that, i was just wondering why before only a few were bothered by it and now everyone seems bothered by it.

It wasn't as noticeable that's why, everything you had gotten from past raids was usable, at least a guaranteed drop of weapon or armor, but now the raid will literally give you wormspore and shards as a reward, how can that help me? It really is disappointing.

Oh I was talking about the gear not shards, and I had alot of shards, all i needed was the gear, but it never dropped.

Reiterating what OP said, we no longer need shards or energies to upgrade our stuff. But now, gear / weapons serve the same purpose. We use them to make our current gear more powerful. If that makes any sense. Also, even shards and energies had a good use later on. You could exchange them for motes and buy exotic engrams off Xur. Just because something has always been bad doesn't mean you should leave it that way.
