Lmao...damn you guys are so dramatic. You act like because new games come out that people shouldn't buy and play them. Of course when numerous other triple A, extremely hyped games come out within the same small time period, the Destiny player base is gonna drop off. Doesn't mean Destiny is dead...means there's only so much time in a day and free time people have in a day to play and they are obviously playing thr new games. Give it a week, most of the CoD players will be back once they miss the grind and reward system of Destiny. Then others will bounce when FO4 and Battlefront drops, and be back in a week or 2. What do you guys honestly expect? Just because people are choosing to play a new game for a bit literally doesn't mean Destiny is dead ffs. Guess what, I have FO4 preordered and Battlefront, I have BO3, and I will still play Destiny more than them when all is said and done. I'm actually headed home now to play some Destiny for a bit, then pop in BO3 for a bit.

How many times are you going to login, see hardly anyone on to do the endgame content that can't be played solo and sit in orbit before you say fcuk it and just play something else? I'm already there, my roster is down to 5-10 people from 20 to 40 at any given time

And that's to be expected when new games launch...especially the last 2 weeks and the next 2 weeks. Only so much time to play and obviously people want to play new stuff for now. They will come back once they burn through campaign, log about 12 hours of mp time, and in BO3s case run zombies a few time and nightmare mode. It happens all the time, however this time the gap will be longer as there's been basically a good game or every week from 2 weeks back to now. Activision isn't gonna cannibalize one product for another when they can milk both dry. The content they have cut since beginning is already planned for launch and at what times, they have this shit mapped out to a science. It's funny that Deej said a November update is on its way in a few weeks....which I had said a few days ago before hand, they gonna let BO3 shine for 2 weeks and launch an update for Destiny thst doesn't do much but address some minor issues that should be fixed already while announcing the next phase of Destiny that will come with December update. That will drop, then after 2 weeks or so, Activision will trickle feed BO3s dlc.

Yeah, but it's been that way for well over a month now and with no one on I'm going to move on to other things, then I'M going to be one more person not on destiny regularly, making me another person on 100 other people's rosters that's not on destiny, dropping their rosters, it's a self feeding circle lol Not to mention all the issues Destiny has with the drops and rng and progression curve just flat turning people off from the game generally, not because of new games, im in that camp in all honesty idk how many more times I'm going to run the raid and get nothing before I just walk away completely lol The new AAA games are going to be the nail in the coffin for players like me because we will have other games to take our attention and more easily walk away completely and not look back. I say this as someone that likes this game, 1000h+ in, and the majority of that time I really enjoyed, not so much lately, and i wish they would fix it because this game could be so much more fun than what it currently is

Here at the bungie community forums we don't logically comprehend your reasoning. Playing new games... Pffft what do we look like.. Gamers or something? Cause we're desticles, herpa derpa

Your reasonable thinking doesn't belong in these forums. This is a special place for REAL people who believe that you should only play one game at a time. You perfectly rational thought process sounds like gibberish to us. Get out of here and take your fancy intellect with you.
