Python nods.
"If this keeps up, you have me to talk to. Don't forget, you need to merge with her. The more times you let her in, the better chance she'll finally relax one of these times."
English
-
"She isn't That's the problem" Her voice fractures again, abruptly changing from Nova's to Jupiter's, and back again She glitches a swell, bits of her flashing ang spasming from red to her usual blue "If I let her in, she attacks my mind"
-
Dean looks at Nova with fearful and a careful look. "Jupiter....why?" Python remains silent, crossing his arms.
-
"Jupiter wants to remain as she is, either that or she fears what will happen if our minds merge She refuses to listen to reason"
-
Dean hands the shotgun to Python, starting to hug her. "Listen Jupiter, let them merge. Why aren't you letting it happen?"
-
He sees a change, Jupiter wrestling control from Nova "I don't want to be some kind of damned AI! I'm stuck here, refusing to merge with her because of that!" Her voice was dilated, inhuman, Jupiter didn't know how to control Nova
-
Python sighes. "This isn't good. If she rejects the body, she'll be gone. Forever. No way back." He began thinking, not liking the idea. If we get Phantom, she could become a Genesis.... That wouldn't end well, at all. It's that, or an innocent dies. He shakes his head, not sure if he was going to regret saying this. "What if....when we get Phantom back, we were to give you a new body? One like mine, except more human looking?"
-
"You can do that? Can't we make a clone though??" Jupiter sounded lost, the rampancy from Nova might be effecting her
-
"A clone.....I hadn't thought of that." He shrugs. "Ginger turned out alright, a little unstable though. It's up to you."
-
"What do you mean, unstable?"
-
"Unpredictable. A few went crazy, rebelling. But most were alright."
-
"I don't want to take those chances..."
-
He nods. "Genesis is a comfortable option, little to no chance if insanity. Clones are more difficult. You get five tries, with a normal person's will and mind, hopefully one will be normal. Or you could stay with Nova and play nice."
-
She stays quiet a bit "What's Genesis?"
-
He sighes. "Me. Phantom. Robot-human combo on steroids."
-
She remains quiet "I'll think about it" She then slumps over a bit, although Dean catches her, she stand snack up Nova was in control once more, although, more rampant than the last she was
-
Dean holds her up. Python takes a step forward. "Nova, are you alright?"
-
"F-fine" She slowly loses her usual blue color
-
"No, you're not. In the system, relax now. Charge up. I'll take over." He starts working his way into the ship's system.
-
"How will you h-" She then drops to the floor, the loud sound of metal against metal is heard as Nova shuta down randomly
-
"Relax, kid. I've been doing this a lot longer than you have." He seems to run the ship easily, a small falter here or there, but it fixed itself quickly. Dean watches intently. "Where do I put her?" "Command deck, stasis pod."
-
After Dean had picked her up, and followed Python to the Command Deck, Hill turned to face them "Now what's wrong with her?!" Dean moves to set her in a pod
-
"Jupiter's rejecting Nova. Shell be fine, just needs some rest. I'm running the ship until then." Hill notices a dent in Python's chest, small but definitely there. Whether it was a sign he could be beaten or a sign that he was experienced, could be debated. He has a small blue hologram over his eye. It seems to be how he's controlling the ship.
-
Hill shakes his head "I had a feeling it was a bad idea to use Jupiter The techies said 'Nooo! It'll work!'" The pod closes around Nova, as her usual blue color returns to her metallic body
-
"It's working pretty well, Phantom did his work on others, some didn't work as well. They'd go insane or not survive the surgery, he's got better though. I'm amazed I'm not dead, being the first." There's a slight smile on his face, hollow maybe, but Hill couldn't tell.
-
He sighs "Well, if Jupiter wants to do it, feel free to"
