The Stare is just as good, especially with Shortgaze or Longview SL10. If you have one with Firefly, it comes in very handy in Trials for people that stick around after they have rezzed a teammate.

In trials I'm just gonna use a shotgun should I ever get one that's any good like a party crasher with range finder
