Just like hexadecimal (base 16) uses an alphanumeric digit system i.e. from 0-9 and A-F, if we consider the highest "valued" letter (i.e. the letter T) to be the highest "valued" letter in the alphanumeric base system, then one can very well count to potato using base 30. It would be the equivalent of "627732894" in base 10 (denary, our normal base system). Using alphanumeric codes, we can also use base 31 (738767751), base 32 (864988088), base 33 (1007900973), base 34 (1169110050), base 35 (1350318539), and base 36 (1553332236). Base 36 is the highest you can go using the alphanumeric system (since that uses all of 0-9 and A-Z). Counting to potato is pretty impressive.
