We save supers for adds.
Can save your heavy also if you have to. Snipers are all you need for the boss.
Honestly i think his health could be reduced some. Not a big deal though.
Add control is definitely the trick to this strike though.

I was doing it on heroic, so it was wickedly hard

I don't run anything that is not heroic. Nightfall would be brutal without a burn. It's not bad. If you are match making it would be tough. I run with friends with mics. We coordinate sides and which supers to use on adds. All in all is not to bad. However match making can make all the new strikes a lot harder then they need to be. I avoid doing that.
