Sorry about that, I have edited it to include the Monte Carlo's function as well as the Sunbreaker's role in this strategy.

Monte carlos special perk gives you melee energy every kill and has the chance to fully charge your melee. So you use the melting point in the pit kill a couple ads and get you melee back in seconds...

Killing adds would give you the change for an instant recharge. I can see why hosing the boss is a better strat than killing adds: The boss is always there, adds might not be. With all the damage boosters and the pool of relaimed light the damage you deal to the boss is far higher than to any add so it should ensure you the fastest recharge boost possible. Plus your melting point takes time to wear off anyway so you don't NEED an instant recharge but you do NEED to damage the boss. It makes sense, though really I do wonder how many people need such a convoluted method?
