I'll say snipes don't take skill... Once you get the hang of it, it's second nature and cheese puffs vs those who don't have the patience to figure it out... Once figured out, it then becomes a "crutch" so to say.

However, it's not like some math equation where all you need to do is figure it out. It's something you hone and refine as you practice to get better. By your logic, that once you've become proficient at something it's a crutch, then there's [i]absolutely nothing[/i] that wouldn't qualify as a so-called crutch. If I'm misinterpreting your post, by all means let me know, but that's my takeaway from what you said.
