I don't do parades personally, and I do keep it to myself actually; yet, no straight person I've come into contact with (online or offline) keeps it to themselves. Why should we? Why should we not celebrate our newfound freedom? Why should we sugarcoat shit for adult human beings who should be more than capable of just moving on? I'll never know.
