[spoiler]Not true at all. A laser is made out of pure condensed plasma, and a Lightsaber is focused, frozen lasers. It's even in the wiki. If you doubt me, it also explicitly states that Pre Vizla's Darksaber is also made out of plasma, and he used it effectively against Obi Wan's Lightsaber. [/spoiler]
