The only difference between this and a traditional MMO is the amount of players you can see on the screen at any given time. Would I like to see 60 people in the tower? Sure. But that requires dedicated servers

Oh I guess that means that every other game on the market is an MMO by your definition. MMO - you can [i]see[/i] massive amounts of players. This game is a hybrid, but not a true MMO. And just because it doesn't have dedicated servers to show it doesn't make it one. You have to actually see all of the players for it to be one.
