Signed. The loot system is utter garbage and WAY worse than the "forever 29" era. Seriously Bungie. Back then it all depended on pure luck to get ONE drop and you stated months later, that it was bad design and you are going to change that. Now it is not just pure luck to get an item...NO, now said item has 10 different variants JUST in lightlevel that can drop and that applies to EVERY SINGLE item in the raid, not considering perks and or stats. This is WAY WORSE than "forever 29". To put it mathematically...this is actually ONE HUNDRED times worse. Considering 10 item slots with 10 different lightlevel variants... Simple solution. - make every boss drop one item guaranteed. - make it so drops can NEVER be below your currently equipped lightlevel. That way every player is guaranteed some sort of progress every week, even if it's just one lightlevel on a single item, but it is progress and it motivates the player to keep going at it. The way it is right now, I'm just getting pissed. I ran the freaking raid over 15 times now (including 5 Hard Mode runs) and the best Heavy weapon I got? A 303 LMG. Besides that I got a 302 LMG and a 305 RL...that is just pure BS. Not to mention that I haven't got a single helmet drop for any of my 3 characters. Also...on my Titan and Hunter I was running around with 300 raid boots for the past couple weeks. Never got even another pair of boots to drop. Now I ran hard mode twice with my Hunter and got 319 boots. My Titan still crapping around with his 300 boots. Sure it felt great to see those 319 boots and they even had a decent roll, but I would have been a lot happier if I actually progressed steadily with my boots instead of jumping 19 freaking lightlevel just because I had that one lucky draw...
