I think neither need to happen, why do I want to deal with the real world when I'm playing videogames?
They just need to put festivals in while mirroring certain aspects of real holidays, but still only focus on the game world.

Let's be honest though, the Destiny game world is pretty lacking as it is. A festival every now and again might make the tower feel somewhat alive at least

I'm fine with the festivals, I'm loving this one. I just don't want them to make one that is specific to anyone holiday by naming it as such. Though I know they won't.
