Sols started being a dick to basically everyone he spoke to. Good riddance.

I spoke with him a lot. Never had a problem with him. Maybe because I don't just insult his ideas or criticisms but actually converse in a civilized manner (even when I [i]don't[/i] agree with his posts)? The trolls and ninjas target him to the point that he has to walk on eggshells on here, which is a bad move on public forums. Instead of having a place to discuss topics freely, we now have to worry about censorship. That's why they go after him more than the trolls that he responds to.

My experience has been that all you have to do is disagree with the man and he flies off the handle with insults and throws logic out the window.

It depends on [i]how[/i] you disagree. You can disagree with someone without trying to insult them. 99.9% of this community doesn't grasp that concept and usually come off as attacking and not adding any constructive criticism. If you approach him with a counter point to his ideas in a civilized way or without trying to belittle him, he responds accordingly. Just like anyone.

It speaks volumes about someone that another persons defense of their lack of self control requires that others need to address him in some particular manner, instead of acknowledging he gain more self control and a thicker skin. No, I'm just saying it totally depends on how you approach someone. In Lost's case, he gets way more responses from a variety of people, a lot of which are trolls. I've personally seen posts of his turn sour due to trolling. Dealing with [i]that[/i] many negative posts will naturally bring your defenses up and give you a short fuse. It doesn't change the fact that a majority of posts start as an attack, not a criticism.

The simple fact that you've resorted to trying to talk down and belittle me tells me your conversations with him probably went the same way and I can see where he would get annoyed. I'm just going to end this conversation now because you obviously only want an argument.

How exactly am I talking down and belittling you? If Sols is going to make himself a target, he should be the kind of person who can deal with insults and hostility. I've been insulted on here, you know what I do? I mute them or I walk away, who cares? I have never insulted the man, or you. You started your comment with the word No, and reiterated your first point. How exactly am I supposed to know what you are saying no to? Your point is that Sols is on edge because of constant negativity, that's reasonable. My point is that Sols should reconsider the what he is doing here if he can't handle the situation as it stands, what's unreasonable about that?

Actually no. Sols gets banned for saying "blam off" to a troll. You're here calling him a dick and you think your righteous. I don't see Sols going into posts repeatedly calling people out, but I see the same group of you in all his threads calling him a sellout, etc for having anything good to say about the game. In fact, I see Sols critiquing the game and a crowd that critiques Sols. Again, why are you here calling him a dick? The fact is that when people get enough hateful posts flung their way, they're going to respond and on these forums, we all know that the trolls never get banned, just the responses.
