The most recent Ninja's actions were by his own admission an act of 'judgement'. So I ask...what qualifies this or any other Ninja to wield such judgement? What qualifications grant these Ninja's their absolute power? "Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely." -Lord Acton

  • Well, he was mainly a writer and historian w/ a brief political career. The context of the quote is that he is calling into question the different standards that those w/ power are held to, specifically referring to the Pope and King (late 19th century), and how they shouldn't be above the law. So, maybe a bit ironic, but no less relevant. Furthermore, there are studies that were performed which proved his theory of how power corrupts. Anyway, I see this quote as being extremely relevant to the conversation at hand regarding the perceived abuse of power by forum Ninjas.
