The Arki were an ancient civilization predating most modern life by hundreds of thousands of years, they were the absolute power pf the universe and knew its knowledge, all of it. They... Though could not avoid the destiny which we all aim to be... Collapse, the Arki had few scholars, one specifically leaving memories of the banishment he faced for talking of the collapse... The theory... Fact... Goes, any civilization that transcends the physical reality, time, and the universe itself, the great pattern, will become so advanced that a great and sudden collapse will occur due to the universal laws that absolutely nothing can break... The whiplash. Say... Every species, or civilization has been tied with a very stretchy rope to a center column and faces a wall. Past that wall is another length of open space before another wall and so on. With every major advancement comes a door. And the walls become stronger and more resistant but you can still move on the rope you are held by stretches. There is an end. An end wall with no door but a wall. The Arki, touched the wall and stretched to it... But with that final advancement cane the snap of the rope... And the rope comes back to hit you... And the end of that civilization..
