The different ballistics don't change aim assist or zoom, they change the stats of the weapon very slightly. I stick with soft ballistics to maximize range and stability (since planet destiny discovered that more range = better aim assist) and use snapshot because it's basically the best pvp middle perk for snipers. Faster ads allows for easier quickscoping. Btw this sniper is amazing for close quarters and aggressive sniping. Snapshot with they combo of low zoom and nearly 0 recoil allows for some pretty awesome quickscoping
