If you're dumb enough to not lock your weapons, I've got no sympathy.
Says in clear letters on any weapon

I don't think he is an asshole. In fact I agree with him, I too have no sympathy for people who don't take the time to read and plan ahead. I don't wish him ill will but I won't console him on his lapse.

The guy brought it on himself, they created the lock feature for that very purpose, he just had to learn the hard way that he needs to lock his weapons.

I don't thrive on the misery of others. I just believe that there are lessons that can be taught and some that are learned the hard way and this was one of them, he didn't take advantage of a system that was implemented into the game to prevent the dismantling of any gear you want to keep and learned his lesson for it. It would be a different story if it was a glitch, but it wasn't. His downfall was caused by his carelessness or lack thereof.

Not shoving it down his throat, simply stating his error. If he had just locked his sword he wouldn't have made this post. You know as well as I do the mistake he made could've been easily avoided.

Anyway, it's easily avoidable if you have foresight but if you're just relaxing and deleting a bunch of greens it might just happen. He already knows his error and knows what could've been done to avoid it, so why do you continue?
