Resources are limited. The current mechanism works just fine. There is also already a viable option, re-leveling a character.

Resources are limited lmao that's hilarious!! They have like 500 coders and devs! God knows how many testers and community People thy have.... Now there is stuff thy are limited on for sure. Implanting solid ideas the first time, having a solid unified idea for what they want this game to be, ways of finding a way to stick with ideas and make them better instead of just doing something completely different. Those are all things their short on. But a army of bungie people or being able to spare one of those people to dig in and fix things like this they are not my friend.

Re-leveling a character is not a viable option, even with the consumable, just to get back one item? Yes I do understand developing a game is very time consuming and difficult. OP is not DEMANDING this to happen, it is merely a suggestion, a reasonable one at that. Isn't that what the forums are for? I mean besides whining for nerfs and insulting each other, this is a place for people to voice their opinions on the game. Try not to take it so seriously, at the end of the day, all this was is a suggestion.

I misinterpreted your post, sorry about that. Anyway, yes you can disagree with the OP, but I don't understand why you're disagreeing. OP made a mistake and he should pay for that in some way, but having to delete a character and re-level for one item is too steep a punishment in my opinion. If he did the quest again he would have to farm again, infuse again, which is more reasonable.
