Waste of money. I regret ever getting the game. Bungie cant even get a server that runs properly. Bungie is garbage

I didn't changed nothing on my network settings too and suddenly after the releasing of the taken king ,I can't download a darn update ,just had enough of lies

my settings on my hardware and isp have not changed since the day i got this game and never had a problem. now all of a sudden this week i cant log in at all. ive done all their "suggestions" to make it work and i keep getting disconnected after the character select screen. so no, its not always your settings. im caught up on all updates and still cant get it to connect.

Same here didn't changed a thing and suddenly after trying to download the last update for the Ps3 nothing has worked in this game ,the download just doesn't starts and because of that it's impossible to get in .Really pissed me off ,had enough of trying to download a update for over 3 weeks from a broken server

Your router can change its internal DNS and IP configuration at will based on the firmware update provided. If your on wifi this can be tested by plugging it in directly to the router. If that is not an option you can power cycle and reset the firmware at the same time as resetting your license agreement. I had to do this when taken king dropped and I've been on since day 1 launch. Most routers also have an option to port forward for gaming. These are preset in the router but need to be activated. This will also give you a much higher connection and a better NAT type. Who is your Internet provider? I can tell you how.
