It isn't happening all the time for me, but I'm definitely on my 4th alpha lupi Titan chest since the taken king release-- all newly looted and decrypted exotic engrams... That scanning the inventory thing isn't perfected yet guys... Great game, and taken King is the right direction, just a bug that needs fixing.
