1. Weapon parts were NEVER a rare commodity for the first year of the game...and there was NO reason to think that they would SUDDENLY become one.
2. Those perks are often the LAST in the perk tree...and you can't activate a perk until you've PURCHASED ones that preceed it.
So all your doing is looking at what the BASE STATS of a weapon produce.
3. Being able to use a wide variety of weapons is a signficant part of the FUN of this game for me....and I'm not going to suffer this change in silence. This is a DEALBREAKER for me if Bungie continues down this path.
