The problem is moreso with the choice of holidays. If someone's preferred holiday isn't chosen, there will be tons of complaints from people who follow other traditions, and from atheists who are angry at religious holidays being displayed in game.
I support the idea, but it's a can of worms that I dont think bungie wants to open.

[i]Ah, so if any religious holiday is in game, athiests are going to be peeved. If one variant of a holiday (Christmas) is displayed and not another variant (Hanukkah) then the variant's religion that wasn't chosen, will be peeved? I guess that makes sense then. I myself don't follow any religion but love all of the religious holidays. But that's just me.[/i]
